We’re committed to reducing our footprint at all stages of the supply chain and are extremely proud of how our vanities are manufactured.
We only use responsibly sourced FSC Certified timber. The Blum hardware is produced in a very sustainable way in Europe and is built to last a lifetime. Our OSMO finishing products are FSC and PEFC Certified and are alternatives to polyurethane. Not only are OSMO products good for people and good for the environment, but they’re also hardwearing, stain, water and abrasion resistant, and create a microporous surface which will not crack, peel, flake or blister.
Timber off-cuts are repurposed where possible to create new products, any saw dust is repurposed and used as mushroom mulch and all packaging we use is 100% recyclable.
Reducing our footprint wherever possible is a promise that begins during the design phase and continues until your piece is placed in your home, giving you a beautiful bathroom vanity produced with minimal impact.

The Greenpop Foundation NPC is an award-winning registered non-profit organisation headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa - who work to restore ecosystems and empower environmental stewards through forest restorations, urban greening, food gardening, and environmental awareness projects across Sub-Saharan Africa. Harlen is a proud pledge partner to Greenpop’s Forests for Life program.
Forests provide vital services to both people and the planet, bolstering livelihoods, providing clean air and water, conserving biodiversity and responding to climate change. Founded in 2010, Greenpop have empowered thousands of people around the world to get active (not anxious) about the future of our planet, and through their Forest for Life program have planted over 253,000 trees and inspired over 150,000 active citizens across South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, and Tanzania.
To mark the launch of Harlen, we’re proudly pledging to plant three trees every month — a commitment that reflects our promise to tread lightly and stay true to our sustainability values.
For every vanity sold, we will pledge 1 tree and provide our customers with GPS coordinates so they can see exactly where their tree is growing. It’s our way of turning a simple purchase into something bigger – a small but meaningful action that encourages conscious choices for a better planet.
